OVERVIEW

The Deployment Process Manager (Caper) is responsible for mapping and improving the processes required to deploy Caper Carts across the world as Caper scales as part of Instacart’s Connected Stores offering. This role will be a temporary contractor role for up to 3 months with the ability to extend if required.

This critical role will work closely with Caper’s Deployment Operations team in warehouses and retail stores as we build the engine required to receive, configure, ship, set up, and support our powerful and complex hardware at scale as our business grows.

Caper builds smart shopping carts that make grocery shopping a magical experience for customers while delivering unrivaled value and continuously unlocking opportunities for retailers.

ABOUT THE TEAM

Caper builds smart shopping carts powered by deep learning and computer vision to enable a seamless grab-and-go retail experience. Caper’s unique technology is a plug-and-play solution that does not require retail store renovation, operational overhaul, heavy compute, and endless image labeling & training. Retailers simply purchase smart shopping carts and the entire store is upgraded with cashierless capabilities!

Caper is one of the fastest-growing retail automation technology products in the market, costs less than 1% of our competitions’ infrastructure and is already widely adopted in the marketplace.  Our cross-functional team solves challenging problems in ways that our customers love.
