Database Management Specialist

Information Technology Strategies, LLC. is a government IT solutions provider servicing commercial and government initiative in various parts of the United States. We are currently seeking a Database Management Specialist to work for our company. 

Summary:  

• Client Agency is DLA.  
• A CURRENT U.S. Government IT-I / IT-II / SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance. Sponsorship will not be provided. 
• Will be responsible for providing highly technical expertise and support in the use of DBMS. Will evaluate and recommend available DBMS products to support validated user requirements. Will define file organization, indexing methods, and security procedures for specific user applications. Will develop, implement, and maintain database backup and recovery procedures for the processing environments and ensures that data integrity, security, and recoverability are built into the DBMS applications.  

Requirements:   

• A CURRENT U.S. Government IT-I / IT-II / SECRET / TOP SECRET Clearance. Sponsorship will not be provided. 
• Must have an ACTIVE IAT Level I Certification or above (CompTIA A+ CE, CCNA Security, CND, CompTIA Network+ CE, SSCP, CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, CompTIA Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCSP) 

• Must have one of the following ACTIVE Certifications: AWS CCP, OCI Foundations 2020 (or higher), Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, MCSE: WS2016, MCSA: WS2016, RHCE, or RHCSA. 
• Must have experience with the following computing environments:  OCP 12c (or higher), OCI Foundations 2020 (or higher), OCP WebLogic 12g (or higher) 
• 5+ years of relevant experience.  
• Must have experience with DBMS internals.
