Overview of Role
As one of the Data Engineering and Analytics Sales Leads, you will play a critical role in developing and managing relationships with our key clients. You will be the primary point of contact for assigned accounts, responsible for understanding their business needs and challenges, and crafting innovative technology solutions to address them.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with C-level executives, Chief Data Officers, and key decision-makers at client organizations, emphasizing the value of AI and data analytics in achieving their strategic goals.
- Deeply understand client business challenges and opportunities, translating them into actionable technology roadmaps that incorporate AI-driven insights and data optimization strategies.
- Develop and present compelling proposals that showcase the value proposition of 66degrees' services, highlighting the transformative potential of AI, data engineering, and analytics to enhance business outcomes.
- Work with the delivery team to define data analytics and data engineering offerings. Work with vertical sales teams to take these offerings to the market.
- Work with the presales team and review solutions, architecture and solution roadmap, and global delivery plan in the proposals. Present the same to clients.
- Work with 66degrees data analytics and data platform partners to design joint campaigns.
- Work with 66degrees marketing team and execute those campaigns. Create a drum-beat of thought leadership related to data analytics and data engineering on social media and with clients and partners.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within existing client accounts, with a focus on expanding the utilization of AI and data analytics across various business functions.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in technology consulting, sales, or account management, with a proven track record of delivering data-driven solutions that generate measurable business value.
- Demonstrated expertise in building and managing successful client relationships, with a deep understanding of how to leverage AI and data analytics to address complex business challenges.
- Strong understanding of the technology consulting industry and current market trends, particularly those related to the adoption and implementation of AI and data-driven strategies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to articulate the value proposition of AI and data analytics to diverse audiences.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment, while maintaining a focus on the strategic application of AI and data-driven insights.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to develop innovative solutions that leverage the power of AI and data analytics.
- Experience selling data analytics and engineering services to large enterprises
- Good understanding of Data engineering concepts e.g, related to data analytics, warehousing, data governance, data quality etc.
- Prior experience/deep understanding of technologies related to data analytics (e.g. Looker, PowerBI, Tableau, Microstrategy), Data Platforms (Snowflake, Redshift, Bigquery etc) and other specialist data solutions (e.g. for MDM, Data Quality, CDP etc)
- A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
