As a Data Science Lead, you will play a pivotal role in managing client engagements, driving business growth through project sales, and delivering high-quality data solutions. Your technical expertise in data science, machine learning and data engineering will be matched with your outstanding communication, negotiation, and coaching skills to build strong client relationships and guide our team of data professionals to success.

Responsibilities:

• Act as one the primary point of contact for clients, understanding their unique needs, and effectively translating requirements into actionable project plans.
• Identify new business opportunities within existing client relationships and proactively propose tailored data solutions.
• Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to identify potential clients and cultivate leads.
• Partner with our team to lead the sales process for data-related projects, including drafting proposals, making persuasive presentations, and negotiating terms and pricing.
• Provide hands-on expertise in data engineering, data science, and machine learning.
• Mentor and support the development of data professionals, fostering a collaborative and knowledge-sharing environment.

Requirements

• Extensive technical experience in data science, machine learning, and data engineering.
• Expertise in various tools and technologies, such as programming languages like Python or R, machine learning, logic language machine learning methods, data visualization, cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP), data engineering tools, database technologies, DevOps tools and pipelines, big data technologies, and data governance best practices.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders effectively.
• Strong business acumen and experience in project sales, client engagement, and negotiating contracts.
• Previous experience in coaching, mentoring, or leading teams is highly desirable.
• A confident communicator and strong team member
• Excellent English language skills
