Job Summary 

Keyrus is looking for a Data QA/Tester. The ideal candidate is confident in designing and executing test plans within Data Architecture. You will play a crucial role in maintaining data quality and contribute to the overall data governance framework. We value individuals who are detail-oriented, independent contributors with exceptional communication and problem-solving skills, ensuring that together, we continue to transform possibilities into reality.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans to assess data quality, accuracy, and completeness
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and business stakeholders to identify testing requirements and priorities
• Perform data profiling and validation activities to identify data quality issues
• Create and maintain test cases and scripts to ensure consistent testing processes
• Analyze test results and report defects or anomalies to the appropriate teams
• Contribute to the creation and maintenance of the Business Glossary
• Participate in data lineage activities to understand data flow and dependencies
• Collaborate with the Data Quality team to implement data quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements for the role 

• +4 years of experience in data testing methodologies and techniques
• Proficiency in SQL and data analysis tools
• Understanding of data quality concepts and metrics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Fluent in English
• Must be a Portuguese or European citizen or have a work permit for Portugal

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI)
• Familiarity in test automation using Python
• Knowledge of data modelling concepts (Erwin)
• Familiarity with data governance and metadata management tools (Alation)
• Experience with data quality tools (Experian)
• Cross-cultural environment experience.
