Redde Northgate invites you to join our dynamic Group IT team as a Data Engineer within our Data Tower!

Reporting to our Data Engineering Manager, you'll be an integral part of a remote team to drive forward numerous projects across our organisation. Your expertise in SQL will be put to excellent use, as you craft solutions on the MS SQL server stack, employing agile BI methodologies to consistently add value.

With our upcoming strategic move into Azure, we're committed to supporting your growth through a structured personal development plan. Hands-on experience is key, and we'll ensure you're equipped to make meaningful contributions swiftly.

As a team, we thrive on managing BAU data flows and responding to standard business change requirements. We're seeking individuals who are adaptable and eager to tackle things head-on, so we’ll need people who are flexible and up for the challenge.

What’s in it for you?

Salary- £40,000 - £48,000 per annum depending on your level of experience and specialist knowledge.

Annual leave- 24 days, rising to 26 with length of service. Of course, you’ll have public holidays too and we’ll even help you celebrate with an extra day off for your birthday!

About you

You’ll be passionate about data engineering, manipulating data to allow the business to build reports and make decisions.
You will be able to build data warehouses using Kimball methodology.
You will be able to demonstrate skills in data warehousing.
You may have proven experience with ETL and have extensive knowledge of the SQL language.
You will have a good knowledge of the Microsoft BI product stack (SSIS, SSMS, and SSRS) and some Azure knowledge would be desirable.
Good team working skills and clearly communicate solutions to both technical and non-technical people in the business
You’ll have excellent troubleshooting, problem solving and critical thinking skills
