Position Overview:
We're seeking a Data Engineer with a strong background in ETL processes, BigQuery, and Python to support a wide array of data engineering projects for our agency and enterprise clients. This role will focus on maintaining and optimizing our data infrastructure, ensuring the seamless flow of data, and providing the backbone for our data-driven decision-making.
This role supports teams working in US Eastern Standard/Daylight Time and should be flexible to support and work in these times.
Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL processes to support data flow from various sources.
Maintain and optimize our BigQuery database, ensuring high performance and data integrity.
Write, troubleshoot, and optimize SQL queries to support various data needs.
Use Python to automate data processes, integrate data sources, and enhance data workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Operations, Product, Marketing & Sales, Finance, and Engineering, to solve complex data problems.
Develop and maintain dashboards and reports in Looker Studio to provide actionable insights to clients and internal teams.
Ensure continuous improvement of data processes through iterative testing and learning strategies.
1 - 3 years of industry experience in data engineering, with a focus on maintaining and optimizing large-scale data systems.
Expertise in BigQuery, SQL, and Python for data processing, automation, and analysis.
Proven experience with ETL processes and tools.
Familiarity with data visualization tools, especially Looker Studio.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to manipulate, analyze, and interpret large datasets.
Experience in e-commerce marketing, with a strong understanding of platforms like Shopify, Meta (formerly Facebook) Ads, and Google Ads, is a plus.
Self-starter with an entrepreneurial spirit who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
