Data Analyst

Lucky VR is a virtual reality (VR) game development studio that's creating the next generation of online social gaming. Our exclusive partnership with PokerStars (the world's largest poker site) has propelled our debut game (PokerStars VR) to becoming one of the most popular multiplayer games in VR.

Role

Lucky VR is looking for a Data Analyst to join our team. The individual will own the data analysis, visualization and presentation of insights on several topics, internally and externally to stakeholders. They will report to the analytics manager.

Responsibilities

• Collect the needs from production and business stakeholders and define what should be put in place in the analytics team to answer it.
• Work with our analytics engineer to define the data needed in our intermediate tables and the transformation that will be applied to raw data.
• Maintain and evolve general dashboards, which require understanding and documenting the KPI and PI of the company.
• Conduct ad hoc data analysis to answer stakeholders' questions around player behavior, UI, onboarding, game economy, etc
• Identifying trends and patterns in player behavior and usage of game features, and recommend actions to improve analytics team's processes and methodologies
• Communicate in an impactful manner the analytics insights and recommendations effectively to different partners and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Multiple years of experience, we are open to intermediate or senior profiles
• Business oriented mind, ability to understand business needs and translate it into data solutions, but also to proactively push the right analysis to conduct to stakeholders.
• Strong communication and popularization skills
• Excellent SQL skills
• Experience with a BI tool like Power BI, Looker, Tableau
• Good knowledge in data visualization techniques
• Having statistical knowledge is a plus
• Knowledge of a product analytics tool like mixpanel or amplitude is a plus
• Experienced in the Gaming industry is an asset
