Creative Coordinator

Hello, prospective pickle! Design Pickle is excited to announce a new opportunity for a Creative Coordinator to join our team. As a Creative Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in upholding our client's brand integrity and overall creative strategy. Your main focus will be ensuring that all design projects meet our client's unique brand standards and our high creative benchmarks. While you won't be generating new content, you'll need a keen understanding of design principles and the ability to adapt brand guidelines for various regional and local applications.

Reports to: Production Specialist

Timezone: US Working hours EST/PST

Keep in mind that this role is only available to Mexico, Argentina, Colombia, Peru, Philippines, Indonesia, and Malaysia. Availability during regular PST/EST business hours is required.

On a daily basis, you'll collaborate closely with Creatives, Quality Specialists, Team Coordinators, Production Specialists, and other Creative Coordinators. You'll also have frequent interactions with Customer Success Managers and Customer Support.

We're on the lookout for a Creative Coordinator who not only brings a wealth of experience but also shares our passion for delivering top-notch creative work. Your ability to meticulously review and oversee creative output, ensuring it aligns seamlessly with our client's brand guidelines, will be paramount in this role.

Specific to your role, we're looking for individuals who have…

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably with a strong brand management and oversight focus.
• Robust conceptual, graphic design, type, and page layout skills for projects ranging from print to interactive to broadcast.
• Exceptional eye for detail and a deep understanding of the technical aspects of branding.
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to clearly explain brand guidelines and the reasons behind them.
• Practical understanding of Adobe Creative Cloud: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, Premiere Pro, and Acrobat.
• Practical understanding of Canva, Figma, Microsoft PowerPoint, and Google Slides.
• Resourceful and self-motivated individual who excels in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient in organizing and comprehending project requirements, even when they may not be well-defined.
• Business-level English skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional and international teams, and customers
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, and the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines to ensure timely delivery of high-quality work.
• Decision-making, negotiation, and forward-thinking skills.

Bonus Pickle Points if you have…

• Proven working experience coordinating creative teams, preferably in an agency-type environment.
• Extensive knowledge and understanding of the creative process and what constitutes good creative work.
• Knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
• Familiarity or experience in a creative role is a plus.
• Experience in customer support or client-facing roles.

Key Objectives and Responsibilities

As a Creative Coordinator at Design Pickle, here's what you'll be doing:

• Review and oversee all creative output, ensuring quality and alignment with client brand guidelines and creative standards.
• Provide creative recommendations and enhancements to concepts to improve the look & feel of delivered work.
• Curate and develop customer brand profiles and supporting documentation in the Design Pickle Platform.
• Take charge of the creative quality across a wide range of high value and high potential customers.
• Develop a deep understanding of each client's brand, acting as the guardian of its visual identity across all touchpoints.
• Provide brand stewardship, familiarizing the team on properly using brand assets.
• Stay updated with industry trends, technology, and design tools to drive continuous improvement.
