THE ROLE
The Copywriter & Content Creator, Paid Social, will be responsible for creating compelling copy and producing engaging content for various paid platforms, including Meta, TikTok, Snapchat, YouTube, Paid Search, CTV, direct mail, and more. This role involves brainstorming, developing, and executing strategic concepts to attract new members and drive business growth. You will collaborate closely with other content creators and key stakeholders across the acquisition and partnership marketing teams.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Generate strategic, click-worthy messaging for various channels and touchpointsCreate direct response (DR) and native ads based on acquisition briefs and creative brainstormsOwn the copy, content and editing process for paid social and acquisition assetsCommunicate the Thrive Market mission and value proposition authentically to improve CPA, CTR, and hook ratesAssist with short-form copy creation for other verticals as neededTake ownership of messaging strategy and execution for channels/projectsIdeate and execute holistic assets, including creative execution, visuals, and messagingEnhance the efficiency of Acquisition and Creative teams by identifying trends and executing new growth marketing ideasDistill key messages to their essence, regardless of the platformDemonstrate experience across various social touch pointsAsk critical questions and continually seek knowledgeDevelop standards, systems, and best practices for direct response marketing based on insightsQUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of experience in digital marketing as a performance-driven content creatorProficient in writing, concept, filming, and editing strategic videos for multi-channel adsStrong portfolio showcasing diverse digital marketing executions, with a focus on growth marketingMastery of standard English spelling, grammar, and styleExcellent communication skills, balancing initiative and collaborative inputPassion for working in a mission-driven companyHighly collaborative team player with a keen eye for detail and professionalismInnovative thinker unafraid to ask tough questionsBachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related fieldExperience creating compelling CTV ads is a plusStrategic, growth-oriented creative self-starter with a proven track record in paid ad creation, from brief intake to final editsDeep understanding of social media and consumer preferences across different channelsResults-driven and solutions-oriented with a knack for creating pithy, engaging copyComfortable on camera with a portfolio of high-performing user-generated content (UGC)Constantly generating new ideas and innovationsHighly collaborative and vocal team playerThrives in a fast-paced environment with a high standard of excellenceContract Details
