Job Title: Copy Editor

*30 hours/week

*6 month contract with likely extensions

Overview:

Join a dynamic content development team as a Copy Editor, responsible for ensuring the accuracy, clarity, and quality of test item content. This part-time role is pivotal in supporting product maintenance and new production, contributing to high standards of content delivery. If you are detail-oriented with a passion for precision and excellence, this position offers a unique opportunity to make an impact in educational content.

Required Skills:

• Proven experience as a copy editor, preferably in educational or exam content
• Exceptional attention to detail and strong proofreading skills
• Excellent command of grammar, punctuation, and style guides
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
• Strong organizational and time management skills

Nice to Have Skills:

• Experience with standardized testing or assessment development
• Familiarity with content management systems and editing tools
• Prior experience working on certification or exam content

Preferred Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Education, or a related field
• 2+ years of editing experience in a professional environment

Other Requirements:

• Part-time commitment of up to 30 hours per week
• Comfortable working remotely or on-site as required
• Ability to produce a high volume of content reliably within project timelines
