As a content writer, you will work within Tackle’s content marketing team, reporting to the Director of Content & Brand, and be responsible for writing quality, impactful content for Tackle’s prospects and customers. Our ideal candidate is someone who is versatile in their writing abilities and passionate about creating, sharing, and executing content that is meaningful and valuable to our audience(s). You’re a good fit for this role if you thrive off of collaboration, work well with deadlines, and operate with a growth mindset.
What You'll Do:
- Be a steward of the Tackle brand and further its reputation for developing valuable content with an approachable and authentic tone
- Become an expert in Tackle’s messaging and positioning, and apply our voice and tone across all content
- Work cross-functionally to develop content that supports our marketing initiatives and serves the needs of Tackle, its partners, and its customers
- Plan, research, write, and publish a variety short- and long-form content including case studies and testimonials, customer emails, press releases, and blogs to support the buyer’s journey, support our Cloud Provider partnerships, and showcase social proof
- Engage and partner with stakeholders and subject matter experts across the business as needed
You Should Have:
- 3-5 years of experience in marketing with a focus in content and/or copywriting, content management, editing, and publishing within a B2B software company
- Experience working with the Cloud Providers (AWS, Microsoft, or Google Cloud) is highly desirable
- A mind for storytelling, an ear for narrative, and an eye for creating valuable, impactful, high-quality content
- An uncompromising dedication to making each piece of content the best it can be for its audience
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, and ability to adapt to different writing styles and needs
- Exceptional listening and communication skills (verbal, visual, and written) with multiple functions
- Command of SEO principles and best practices
- Proven track record of your writing's impact and contributions towards business goals
- Strong time and project management skills
- Experience working successfully with diverse departments and groups of people

The Hiring Process:
We have a transparent and streamlined hiring process that can typically be completed in one to two weeks:
• Phone screen
• 3 additional video chat interviews (on occasion there may be opportunities for in-person interviews)
