Content Marketing Specialist

Our client is a dynamic company at the forefront of steel building materials and construction services, and is on the lookout for a talented Content Marketing Specialist to join their team.

 

This part-time role, pivotal in enhancing the client’s digital presence through strategic content creation and marketing initiatives, offers the potential to transition to full-time based on the successful candidate's performance and the evolving business needs.

 

As a key contributor, you will play a crucial role in developing and executing our client’s content marketing strategy, ensuring that their brand message is effectively communicated across various channels, and providing content for lead gen and lead nurturing initiatives.


Location: Fully-Remote (Work from Home), Part-time 20h/week (9 AM - 1 PM EST)

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop engaging and compelling content, including case studies, one-pagers, guides, reports, and other collateral that aligns with our brand voice and resonates with our target audience.

  • SEO Optimization: Optimize (new) WordPress blog articles for search engines, ensuring content is keyword-rich, well-structured, and follows SEO best practices.

  • Analytics Monitoring: Monitor and analyze website performance using analytics tools (Google Analytics, SEMRush, etc.), making data-driven recommendations for improvement.

  • Marketing Support: Create ad copy and email campaigns, ensuring brand message consistency.

  • Community Management: Engage with our online community by responding to comments and inquiries on our blog and social media channels to foster a positive environment.

  • Content Analysis: Regularly evaluate the performance of content across platforms and adjust strategies based on insights to improve engagement and reach.

  • Training Material Creation: Develop internal guides and documentation to share content best practices with the team, enhancing overall content quality.

 

What Success Looks Like:

  • Increased Engagement: Successfully driving higher engagement rates across key content platforms, as evidenced by likes, shares, comments, and direct feedback.

  • Growth in Organic Traffic: Demonstrating a measurable increase in organic website traffic through SEO-optimized content and strategic keyword usage.

  • Lead Generation: Contributing significantly to lead generation efforts, with content directly leading to an uptick in inquiries and customer conversions.

  • Innovative Campaigns: Continuously bringing fresh, creative ideas to the table that align with the brand’s vision and resonate with the target audience, setting industry benchmarks for innovation in content marketing.

 

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field is highly advantageous. 

  • Experience in content marketing and SEO.

  • Proficiency in WordPress, Google Analytics, and SEMRush.

  • Excellent communication and creative thinking skills.

 

Nice to Have:

  • Skills in Adobe Indesign, Illustrator, or Canva.

  • Experience with email service platforms like ZohoCampaigns or Mailchimp.
