Since 2015, Bitcoin.com has been a global leader in introducing newcomers to Bitcoin and cryptocurrency. In December 2022 we took the next step with the launch of our own rewards and utility token VERSE and our own decentralized cryptocurrency exchange Verse DEX. By incentivizing and gamifying engagement in the Bitcoin.com ecosystem, Verse supercharges Bitcoin.com’s mission to onboard the world to crypto and accelerate the transition towards a more inclusive financial system.

Must have Skills

• Strong written communication skills (short- and long-form)
• Terminally Online: you must live, eat, and breathe the internet. Up to date with the latest memes, trends, news, and what’s going on online
• Ability to identify and track relevant community metrics for reporting
• Highly self-motivated and well-organized
• A passion for crypto (or deep-diving into learning about it)
• Comfortable with being on livestreams, both video and voice - quick on your feet to manage any response that may be necessary
• Prior experience managing and executing content on various social platforms
• Has owned or/and managed community spaces before (discord groups, social media channels, etc)

Bonus skills

• Video/photo editing skills
• Familiar with programs like Adobe Suite
• Crypto-degen (or if not, willing to become one)
• Fluent in languages other than English, especially Spanish/Chinese/Japanese

Responsibilities

• Be “active” consistently in our community channels to help foster positive energy and reactivate community participation (Telegram Groups, Discord, Twitter
• Become Verse’s #1 Megafan to help spread it throughout communities
• “Crisis Management” - help with Q&A in any relevant channels from users
• Help plan and host live hangouts/contests/campaigns for channels
  • To include AMAs, X circles, youtube live streaming, etc.
• Work with Social/Marketing to promote certain campaigns and updates
• Work with support to help users out
• Promote Bitcoincom and Verse
• Help with publishing videos
• Promote Snapshot votes to let users use Verse to vote on things we have up for vote
• Identify collaboration prospects with other relevant communities and influencers

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Marketing, Communications, or a related field
