About the Position
As the Cloud Engineering team leader, you will be responsible for the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of Contrast Production services and the team that keeps them up and running.
Your team is skilled in cloud-based infrastructure, Linux systems, automation, monitoring, and telemetry. We are searching for you who are skilled in operating such a team and have the technical abilities to architect and set future cloud strategy for us.
You will work with the team to foster an environment of innovation and frequent minor changes to production systems. You will collaborate with the team to build a process that benefits Cloud Engineering, its sister teams, and its larger stakeholder group.
Ideal candidates understand the job of collaborating with a wider group to organize around problems, define outcomes, plan achievement, and execute. You know that failure is not an option; rather, it is a requirement, and you build safe spaces for the innovation and risk-taking necessary to learn quickly and iterate towards key outcomes.
Responsibilities
Operate a distributed high-performing teamFoster continued improvement in people, process, and product Lead, coach, and support team in work definition and planning. You will function as the team’s product owner. You have technical ability to look ahead of the technical stacks and guide the team to stay current with the industry trendLead and coach the team in delivering the planned work, functioning as the team’s project managerRelentlessly streamline the process to limit unplanned work. You are the key enabler for the constant reduction of toilFacilitate team’s regular ceremonies. You will be your team's scrum master Collaborate with peers and take the lead to assure stakeholder involvement and project outcomes.Take a key role in incident response as an escalation point for command, communication, or scribing functions and continually improve the SRE programAssume all human resource responsibilities for team members both full-time and contractManage cost and renewal associated with third-party toolQualifications

Salary and Other Compensation
This position's standard base pay range is $150,000 - $190,000 annually. When determining a candidate’s compensation, we consider several factors: geography, skill set, experience, job scope, and current market data.
