What You'll Do
As the Clinical Placement Advisor, you will work closely with the clinical placement director, enrollment advisor, and student success coaches to support graduate nursing students across multiple disciplines and degrees. You will manage the student's fieldwork as part of their Master's and Doctoral curricula. Your focus will be on creating an exceptional experience for students, faculty, and university partners. You must be able to quickly build strong relationships with students to ensure their retention and success throughout the duration of their program. You will also work closely with clinical sites to secure clinical affiliation agreements and manage the clinical affiliation lifecycle.
The successful candidate will work remotely with occasional travel required.
You will:
- Manage the student clinical placement lifecycle
- Manage student communication from enrollment through clinical completion/graduation
- Set up clinical affiliation agreements and maintain their renewal cycles.
- Maintain up-to-date information pertaining to clearance and onboarding details for existing and new clinical sites
- Set up students and placement sites in EXXAT each term
- Maintain constant contact with and professional communication with students throughout the entire placement process by phone and email.
- Collect and maintain preceptor/site documents needed for onboarding and clearing students prior to rotations starting
- Communicate with faculty about students' competency progress and manage site and preceptor approval process on behalf of students
- Hold Clinical Placement Information sessions for newly admitted students across multiple programs
What You Need to Get the Job Done
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Psychology, Health Science preferred
- 1-3 years of fieldwork placement related experience, preferably healthcare programs
- 5-7 years of experience in higher education working with non-traditional students
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment
- Meets adversity with a calm demeanor and a sense of humor
- Strong commitment to foster collaboration and build relationships within the health care systems, students, and partners, as needed
- Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written, in virtual and face-to-face environments
- Strong interpersonal skills and a history of achieving positive results collaboratively.
- Focused on finding solutions to challenges
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Experience working with clinical placement software
- Ability to travel to partner sites as required

The salary range for this position is $60,000 to $70,000. Individual salaries are determined by various factors, including but not limited to experience, knowledge, skills, and education.
