As a Client Account Director, you will be a key point of contact for Herman-Scheer clients. We're looking for a Client Account Director obsessed with building and growing client relationships with emerging and established brands. You will be working alongside our CEO and team of project managers and other Account Directors to ensure client satisfaction and continued client relationships as we help to launch and grow exciting consumer brands.
What you'll do
- Organic Growth with Our Amazing Clients: Be entrepreneurially minded and constantly looking for ways to improve our clients' business results and mutually beneficial ways to expand our working relationship.
- Strategic Consulting: Serving as a trusted advisor to our clients, advise C-Level clients on business challenges and opportunities, from start-up to enterprise levels.
- Creative Marketing: Understand the creative process, and be able to guide our clients through it and articulate its value to their business.
- Relationship Management: Most importantly, always focusing on creating absolute delight amongst our clients and establishing long-term and fruitful relationships.
- Strategically manage client relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients by being the main point of contact, addressing their needs, and identifying opportunities to upsell or cross-sell our services
- Develop and execute strategies for growing business relationships: Work closely with clients to understand their business goals, challenges, and opportunities, and develop and execute strategies to help them achieve success
- Ensure client delight: Ensure that clients are consistently satisfied with our services by providing exceptional customer service, delivering projects on time and on budget, and anticipating and addressing any issues before they become problems.
- Lead special strategic initiatives: Lead special strategic initiatives, such as elevating our process and offering in research, to improve our service offerings and differentiate ourselves from competitors
- Collaborate with internal teams: Work closely with our internal creative and strategy teams to develop and execute client strategies, ensure project deliverables are on time and on budget, and identify new opportunities for growth.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices, and leverage this knowledge to provide strategic guidance to clients and internal teams.
- Provide financial oversight: Provide financial oversight for client accounts, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
- Meet revenue targets: Work to meet revenue targets by identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling our services and working with the sales team to close deals.
Requirements
What you'll bring
- 5-7+ years working at an agency, start-up or similar environment in a sales, account management, or customer success role
- Experience with content production required
- Comfortable working autonomously in an ambiguous environment
- Detail-oriented and skilled in time and deadline management
- Ability to multi-task and handle multiple clients and projects at once and at high speed
