Your new role: The CFO is a member of the Executive Leadership Team, and will support the development and delivery of DCA’s strategy, implementation of a commercially sustainable business model and efficient operations. The CFO will work closely with the Board, key partners and investors to inspire confidence and to clearly articulate the financial situation of the business and forward plans.

The CFO will be responsible for building and developing a scalable and sophisticated finance function which supports the growth and development of the business. The CFO will drive an efficient, best-in-class approach for finance, including strategic and financial planning and analysis, commercial decision support, capital allocation, statutory and management reporting, financial control, tax, funding strategy and treasury management, and investor relations. The CFO will ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements and DCA policies.

The CFO will undertake as requested other activities that may be outside of their area of focus but which contribute to the overall success of the Company, as directed by the CEO or Board. DCA is listed on the Australian Stock Exchange.

Requirements

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent) with a breadth of finance experience across financial control, commercial finance, tax and treasury.
• A strategic finance leader who has prior experience assessing and shaping a finance function.
• Prior experience in healthcare or financial services is preferred but not essential.
• Strong cultural fit with DCA; energetic, tenacious and resilient. This individual will need to demonstrate that they are comfortable operating in a fast paced, dynamic and constantly evolving environment.
• They will bring a continuous improvement mentality alongside excellent organisational skills.
• A hands-on, inclusive and proactive leader who is a team player and can coach, mentor and develop the team.
• The individual will have experience in a listed environment, as well as exposure to acquisitions, divestments, capital structuring and fundraising.
• The ability to provide leadership and constructive challenge to the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team, as well as working effectively with the Board and key business partners. They must bring strong stakeholder management skills, prior Board experience and demonstrate a high degree of executive presence.
• They will be comfortable in an entrepreneurial, growth stage business, including working to refine and improve imperfect systems and processes.
• Aligned to the values of DCA and passionate about and motivated by the business model, the services and vision.
