Cambridge A-Level Contributing Writer

• Are you an experienced teacher of the Cambridge A-Level syllabus in English Language, Maths, Physics, Biology or Chemistry?
• Do you have a passion for planning and writing effective lessons?
• Do you have in-depth pedagogical knowledge and outstanding attention to detail?

 

We are looking for experienced teachers to support the development of high-quality, rigorous resources for our new online Cambridge A-Level courses.

 

In particular, we are looking for Contributing Writers to write comprehensive and curriculum-aligned lesson scripts for our online platform.

Requirements

This opportunity might suit you if:

• You have at least 3+ years teaching the A-Level course in one of the listed subjects;
• You are experienced in, and enjoy, writing your own educational resources;
• You have a strong understanding of the needs of students studying and preparing for their A-Level exams;
• You are familiar with the Cambridge English Language papers, in particular;
• You are confident with writing comprehensive, step-by-step calculations with required marking made clear;
• You can work independently and meet submission deadlines effectively and consistently;
• You are open to collaboration and receiving feedback on your written work.

Applicants should be able to commit 15-20 hours per week from October 2023 to early 2024.

Benefits

Employment will be contract-based and we are able to offer GBP 210 / USD 260 per completed lesson script.
