Business Operations Associate

About the Role:

As a Business Operations Associate at Allara, you will play a vital role in supporting our founder and the company as we scale. This role requires someone with excellent presentation skills, strong proficiency with data and analytics, and the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across the organization. The ideal candidate will be a highly organized and detail-oriented self-starter who is able to thrive in a dynamic startup environment. 

This role will report directly to our Head of Business Operations while also working very closely with our founder/CEO. The position is ideally hybrid with 2-3 days in our NYC office or remote working in EST time zone. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own refresh of data inputs & drivers of our financial model and assist with scenario modeling, working closely with our CEO
  • Support operating rhythm of the company with updates to metrics and crafting materials for company-wide meetings and investor communications 
  • Conduct data analysis and monitoring to develop insights about our business such as unit economics analysis, appointment & claims trends, and clinical capacity tracking
  • Coordinate responses to business development opportunities - scheduling meetings with our CEO and other key stakeholders, creating presentations, and addressing follow-up questions
  • Assist with people operations and finance such as company offsite, HR-related setups for new hires, state tax registrations & compliance matters, employee expenses, vendor management, and NYC office operations

Experience & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in business-related field (finance, accounting, economics) 
  • 2+ years of work experience in consulting, investment banking, private equity, or venture capital 
  • Ability to digest complex data and present findings in a clear manner that drives decision-making and outcomes
  • Excellent communication and advanced presentation skills (i.e., creating external-facing, polished decks in PowerPoint/Google Slides
  • High proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and experience with financial or strategic modeling, experience with SQL or data tools a plus
  • Intellectual curiosity and an eagerness to dive into new problems, tools, and techniques
  • Comfort with ambiguity, context-switching, and a fast-paced environment

The target base salary for this position ranges from $80,000-100,000, in addition to a competitive equity and benefits package (as applicable).
