Role Overview 

KORE Planning and Insights Team consults with clients on a variety of business intelligence, strategy, and reporting initiatives.  While understanding Enterprise Clients business objects, this team member will work with the clients to offer the best solutions and accomplish their technical goals.  This role will report to the Consultant, Enterprise Data & Analytics and be responsible for collaborating with other members of the KPI team. 

This role will mainly assist in SQL script writing, creating automated processes, and building and designing Tableau dashboards and other data visualizations. 

The ideal candidate for this position will be self-motivated, a solutions-provider, detail-oriented, data-focused, and have a strong ability to work well in a team-based setting.  This role will also ask the candidate to collaborate both with internal and external teams. 

Duties and Responsibilities 

This position will devote their time writing custom scripts to power standardized views, automations, and dashboards.  Although we expect this role to expand as skills and experience grow, the following is an estimated breakdown of where we expect this individual's time to be allocated in main categories of tasks: 

SQL Script Writing 

  • Build and standardize optimized SQL scripts 
  • Proactively monitor performance of automations and integrations 
  • Develop SQL scripts to be used in automations for CRM, Email Marketing, and other integrations 
  • Investigate data discrepancies and troubleshoot client queries 
  • Assist in development and optimization of ETL/ELT pipelines 
  • Support in the development of machine learning models by combining data from multiple data sources 
  • Help maintain the quality of data used in day-to-day analysis or scripts 
  • Maintain documentation on processes developed 

Tableau Dashboard Design 

  • Understand client use cases and design dashboards that accomplish those goals 
  • Use Tableau best practices to build interactive and efficient dashboards 

Communication & Consultation 

  • Communicating via phone, email, face-to-face and virtual meetings with customers 
  • Analyze and define tasks, data flows, and dependencies in relation to project deliverables 
  • Work cross-departmentally to continue to develop KORE's reporting products

Skill Requirements 

  • Proven command of SQL and relational databases 
  • Proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, PowerBi preferred) 
  • Experience in AWS tech-stack preferred 
  • Working knowledge of CRM platforms (Microsoft Dynamics, Salesforce) preferred 
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and technical skills 
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills – must be able to communicate completes ideas to both technical and non-technical individuals 
  • Experience in Python language a plus 
  • Familiarity of database marketing and the sports industry 
  • Ability to communicate professionally in both a written and verbal context with external end-users and internal colleagues 
  • Attention to detail, ability to work with deadlines, and ability to coordinate across multiple departments
