As a Business Development Manager you will:
- Execute comprehensive business development strategies, emphasizing the identification of new and cold leads.
- Actively pursue and establish connections with potential clients in the video game industry.
- Analyze and report on sales metrics and performance, making data-driven decisions.
- Identify emerging opportunities and industry trends in the video game sector.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to optimize overall business growth and profitability.
- Contribute to the strategic input for the overall business development direction, with a focus on new market penetration.
- Manage account relationships during the first two years to maximize opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
- Travel as required to meet with prospective clients and partners.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in business, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development, with a specific focus on identifying new leads and opportunities in the video game, tech, or entertainment industries.
- In-depth knowledge of the video game industry, including emerging trends and rising stars.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills tailored to the video game sector.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth in the video game market.
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively for client meetings and industry events.
- Strong account management skills with a focus on maximizing upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
