About the role
Are you interested in working with unicorn Silicon Valley startups/technology companies and world class professional sports teams (in the NBA, NFL, MLB, NHL, etc)?
Demand Inc is looking for a smart, adaptable and capable Business Development Consultant who can assist our customer success team and global customer base. The core function of this role is planning and executing cold email outreach, interacting with possible leads, and booking demos and meetings for our clients (E.g., we’ve booked 70k meetings resulting in $3B in client pipeline).
Our clients include: Google, AWS, HP, UPS, The New York Mets, and +200 startups.
Requirements
What we're looking for:
• Strong communication skills
• Proactiveness - you identify relevant tasks and complete them without being asked, and over-communicate progress and status while you’re working
• Highly organized with an ability to multitask and manage various clients simultaneously
• Experience with using Google Workplace / CRMs / marketing automation tools
• Prior interaction with English-speaking clients, and/or past experiences working or studying in the US / UK / Europe/Australia
• Background in account management, business development, sales, marketing a plus
• Recent grads and MBAs in business, communication, English, economics, liberal arts and related fields will be considered
• Prior experience at a SaaS, or tech startup a plus
• Sense of humor
