Moneyhub is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Development Representative to join our expanding team. As a leading fintech company, Moneyhub provides innovative solutions that enable our clients to gain better control of their finances and improve their financial wellbeing.

 

Role Overview:

 

As a Business Development Representative, you will play a crucial role in driving revenue growth and expanding Moneyhub's market presence. You will be responsible for generating and qualifying leads, establishing strong relationships with potential clients, and ultimately driving the sales process forward. Your efforts will contribute directly to the success and growth of Moneyhub.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead Generation:
  • Identify and research potential clients in the financial services industry.
  • Use various channels, such as email campaigns, social media, and cold calling, to generate high-quality leads.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align strategies and target key industries and prospects effectively.
  • Qualification and Engagement:
  • Conduct initial outreach and engage with leads to understand their needs and pain points.
  • Educate prospects on Moneyhub's product offerings and value proposition.
  • Effectively articulate the benefits of our solutions, positioning Moneyhub as a trusted and reliable partner.
  • Relationship Building:
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Moneyhub, building a positive and lasting impression with potential clients.
  • Sales Pipeline Management:
  • Track and manage leads through the sales pipeline, utilizing CRM software to ensure accurate and up-to-date information.
  • Collaborate with the Sales team to support the conversion of leads into opportunities.
  • Provide regular progress reports to management, highlighting successes and challenges.
  • Market Insights:

 

  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.
  • Share market insights with the Sales and Product teams to shape future offerings and strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Business Development Representative or similar role in the financial technology sector.
  • Strong understanding of financial services and fintech trends.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present confidently and professionally.
  • Goal-oriented and driven to exceed targets and objectives.
  • A proactive and self-motivated attitude, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
  • Familiarity with CRM software and sales automation tools is a plus.

Location

We embrace flexible working, including remote working on UK-hours (and can help with the cost of setting up your home office if needed). If you prefer to come in sometimes, we have an office in the centre of Bristol (with all of the usual facilities). We get together in person once a quarter - either at HQ in Bristol or elsewhere - and we expect all team members to join us for these sessions unless there are exceptional circumstances.
