We are looking for a Backend Engineer, Node.JS to join our dynamic Engineering team!

What You Bring:

We are looking for a Backend Engineer, NodeJS with at least three (3) years of experience:

• Extensive proficiency in Node.js.
• Proficiency in Typescript.
• Solid understanding and practical experience in either PostgreSQL and RDBMS design or MongoDB and No-SQL design.
• Demonstrated experience in developing and deploying applications and/or micro-services.
• Familiarity with message queues and pub-subs, such as Apache Kafka, RabbitMQ, and ActiveMQ.
• Proven ability and willingness to innovate, continuously learn, and actively share knowledge with team members.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Self-driven, responsible, and capable of taking ownership.
• Comfortable working in a flat company structure without close supervision, showcasing a proactive, goal-oriented attitude.

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with Node.js web frameworks, particularly Express or Fastify, for efficient web application development.
• Familiarity with leveraging Node.js streams for efficient and optimized data processing.
• Knowledge of Kubernetes, especially in EKS or AKS flavors, for container orchestration.
• Familiarity with testing frameworks like Jest, Chai, and Mocha for robust and reliable code testing.
