Requirements

Remotebase is seeking a Backend Data Engineer experienced in API development, data ingestion and processing, and data analysis to lay the technical foundation of our platform. Platform includes ingesting and processing various energy data sources, while publishing external APIs. Any experience with electricity data is a bonus.

• Language: TypeScript Server
• Framework: Nest.js REST API (with fastify under the hood)
• Containerisation: docker / docker compose
• Deployment: Railway (container deployment service)
• DB: postgresdb using Prisma.js ORM
• DB Provider: neon.tech
• DNS provider: cloudflare
• Skills required: Data Analysis, TypeScript, Data Management, TensorFlow
• Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
• At least 3-6 years of experience as a Backend Data Engineer
