AWS Data Architect

Role Overview:

As an AWS Data Architect, you will be responsible for designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient data architectures on AWS. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements, architecting data solutions, and ensuring data integrity, availability, and performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data engineers, and analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into effective AWS data solutions.
• Design end-to-end data architectures on AWS, encompassing data ingestion, storage, processing, and visualization.
• Architect data lakes, data warehouses, and real-time data streaming solutions based on business needs.
• Select and implement appropriate AWS services (e.g., S3, Redshift, Glue, Kinesis, Lambda) to build scalable and performant data pipelines.
• Ensure data security and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Develop data migration strategies to transition on-premises data solutions to the AWS cloud.
• Optimize data architecture for high availability, disaster recovery, and cost-efficiency.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployment and management of data solutions.
• Mentor and guide data engineers in best practices for AWS data architecture.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proven recent 3-5 years of relevant experience as a Data Architect with a strong focus on AWS technologies.
• In-depth knowledge of Amazon Web Services, including a variety of services related to data management, storage, processing, and analytics.
• Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL processes, and data integration patterns.
• Proficiency in designing and implementing data lakes, data warehouses, and data streaming solutions.
• Experience with data migration strategies and hybrid cloud solutions.
• Strong understanding of data security, encryption, and compliance best practices.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
