We're seeking AWS Cloud Operations Engineers on behalf of our client, a respected healthcare provider in the greater Boston area. Your primary responsibilities will encompass all aspects of AWS cloud computing, including planning, administration, optimization, maintenance, and support. A robust understanding and experience with public cloud technologies, specifically Amazon Web Services (AWS), is necessary. As a Cloud Engineer, you'll play a pivotal role in constructing secure, compliant, and cost-efficient AWS solutions. Successful candidates will ensure the continuous availability of technologies to meet the business's essential needs. Adept communication skills and relationship-building acumen are crucial for optimal performance in this role.

*Requirements:*
* The ideal candidate should have the following qualifications and skills:
* Capability to define, document, and implement policies for cloud-based systems such as Landing Zone, Control Tower, IAM, Config, and SCP.
* Proficiency in at least one scripting language, including but not limited to python, json, yaml, bash.
* Demonstrated expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts, with hands-on experience in CloudFormation.
* Experience in utilizing tools such as AWS Cost Explorer, CloudHealth, and Trusted Advisor for optimizing resource use and managing costs.
* Familiarity with AWS network and security features, including VPC, Security Groups, NACLs, ALB/NLB, Transit Gateway.
* Experience in building applications using native AWS services.
* Strong understanding of high availability solutions, including multi-AZ / regions, Backup, Snapshotting, and archiving.
* Experience in documenting changes and workflows in an Agile environment.
* Capability to evaluate on-premises workloads and outline the necessary profile requirements to support AWS.

*Experience: *
* 5-7 years related work experience required as an IT Systems Engineer with at least 5 years working exclusively on AWS.
* Minimum 4 years of experience with AWS Cloud Services (S3, EC2, RDS, VPC, KMS, SNS, etc.)
* Healthcare domain knowledge and working in regulated environments is a must (HIPAA, HITRUST, SOC2)
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline; equivalent experience
* AWS Certifications: Cloud Practitioner, PLUS Associate or Professional level Architect

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60.00 - $90.00 per hour
