Job Summary:

The Event Sales Specialist will be pivotal in identifying and securing new business opportunities for the events of the associations we partner with. This role requires a proactive approach to understanding the needs of associations, researching potential event sponsors, and ensuring successful event sales outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Meet or exceed event sales targets

- Become an expert on our associations

- Represent our association's brands to potential event sponsors

- Prospect, qualify, negotiate, and close sales opportunities.

Requirements

- 0-2 years in sales, business development, customer service, or similar roles.

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

- Strong organizational and multitasking skills.

- Familiar with GSuite, a plus

- Self-motivated and able to thrive in a results-driven environment.

- Natural relationship builder with integrity, reliability, and maturity.

- Ability to prioritize among competing tasks.

- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
