An experienced Artificial Intelligence Engineer with at least 2 years of experience as a machine learning engineer is needed to join the team at this leading design and architecture 3D platform based in London on a full-time, remote (work-from-home), 6-month contract basis.

They are a real-time 3D platform to tell stories about design and architecture. A multiuser design collaboration platform and virtual sales suite for the built environment that directly connects the developer and agents with investors and prospects using spatial technology.

Ideal candidates are recent master's or PhD graduates or someone with some experience using AI models with 3D data for a 6-month contract (minimum). They are based in London but can accommodate fully remote working for anyone based in the UK, as long as they don't mind travelling for monthly team meetings.

About the Company

They have some of the most exciting architecture studios as investors and partners and are looking to expand the platform through the use of AI. This means that designers will be able to go from 3D CAD files to a real-time environment in as short a time as possible.

So they are looking to develop a prototype service that uses a combination of ChatGPT, machine vision and a searchable 3D database with a prompt-based interface to extend and enhance how users interact with their designs on the platform.

Key Responsibilities:

Research the best combination of 3D spatial models and machine vision to generate a unique solution
Build deployable versions of the models
Ensure that the environments created during model research and prototyping can be replicated with ease for the final AI-based solution
Research and prototype AI algorithms to work for 2D layouts and within 3D space
Research the optimum architecture using leading AI frameworks
Use tools like GIT and TFS for continuous integration and versioning control to track model iterations and other code updates
Research, test and build simple prototypes of models
Develop desktop prototype models that can lead to a better understanding of the final solution
Create fake user interfaces to research the feasibility of a more in-depth view of the models to test with industry partners
Look over the overall needs of the company's AI project

Required Experience:

Experience with spatial ChatGPT, AI-friendly databases, machine vision and deployment technology
Bachelor's degree in computer science, data science, mathematics, or a related field
A master's degree in computational linguistics, data analytics, or similar will be advantageous
At least two years experience as a machine learning engineer or a higher degree in AI/ML
Proficiency with Python, Java, and R code writing

Required Skills:

A self-motivated team player who is able to work independently and on your own initiative
Excellent organisational skills are required, along with the ability to communicate confidently, both written and verbally
You should be customer and quality-driven but pragmatic and commercially aware
Extensive knowledge of ML frameworks, libraries, data structures, data modelling, and software architecture
In-depth knowledge of mathematics, statistics, and algorithms
Superb analytical and problem-solving abilities
Great communication and collaboration skills
Excellent time management and organisational abilities
