About the Role
The Alliance Engagement Manager plays a crucial role as an individual contributor. With a focus on leveraging strong sales and partnering skills, the Alliance Engagement Manager is tasked with accelerating field engagement between Matillion sellers and key partners (Snowflake, AWS, Azure, Databricks). This high-profile position requires adeptness in working within a matrixed environment, collaborating closely with Sales RVPs, Partner Account Managers, Product Managers and the Global System Integrator team to establish a cohesive approach aimed at pipeline development and successful deal closures.
What you will be doing;
Partnership Strategy and Communication
Define rules of engagement between Matillion and partner sellers.Educate sellers on engagement protocols with Alliance partners.Identify and share co-selling best practices.Engage on development and prioritization of joint Product Roadmaps.
Partner Relationship Building and Management
Recruit Matillion champions within partner organisations.Engage regularly with Matillion and Partner Sales Management.Facilitate ongoing co-selling initiatives at the field level.Facilitate field and executive leadership alignment.
Reporting, Support, and Coordination
Create and maintain reports on pipeline, opportunities, and win-loss analyses.Draft partner win wires to highlight successful collaborations.Provide support for regional partner events.Coordinate across multiple teams (Tech Alliances, Field Marketing, Partner Marketing, Sales, Channel, and SI).
Communication and Presentation
Strong ability to communicate ideas effectively through clear and engaging presentations.Proficient verbal and written communication skills for conveying information clearly and persuasively.
SalesForce Proficiency
Demonstrated expertise in utilising the SalesForce platform for sales-related tasks and data management.Ability to leverage SalesForce tools to streamline workflow processes and generate insightful reports.
Analytical and Sales Acumen
Aptitude for analysing data to identify trends and opportunities for sales growth.Proven sales background with a track record of achieving targets and driving revenue.Ability to build and lead virtual teams effectively, fostering collaboration and achieving collective goals.
At Matillion, we are committed to providing competitive salaries in line with market standards. Our estimated base compensation range for this position is $105,600 - $158,400. This role is eligible for variable pay so your total on-target earnings will be between $176,000 - $264,000 but the final salary will be based on the relevant skills and experience demonstrated in the hiring process.
