We are seeking a talented and experienced Data Scientist to join our team at RedLight Software. As a Data Scientist, you will work on cutting-edge data analytics and machine learning projects, leveraging advanced techniques to extract insights and drive innovation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams of data scientists, engineers, and domain experts to develop and deploy data-driven solutions that make a significant impact on our business. • Develop and implement machine learning models and algorithms to extract insights and patterns from various data sources.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, engineers, developers and data scientists, to define software requirements, coordinate software development, promote transparent communication and ensure seamless integration of software components.
• Design and execute experiments to evaluate the performance of machine learning models and iterate on improvements.
• Stay updated on the latest machine learning research, methodologies, and technologies to drive innovation.
• Work closely with domain experts to understand business needs and translate them into actionable data science solutions.
• Communicate findings, insights, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.

Requirements

• Solid background in machine learning, statistical analysis and data manipulation.
• Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in the data science field, such as Python, along with libraries like Pandas, PyTorch, HuggingFace and Scikit-Learn.
• Hands-on experience in preprocessing and cleaning large-scale text data and large language models.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially AWS and Sagemaker, for data storage, processing, and analysis.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to apply critical thinking to complex field challenges.
• A competent drive to analyze data, apply statistical techniques and create visualizations for data insights.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Publications or contributions to the field community (e.g., research papers, open-source projects) are a plus.
