AI Product Managers at Seek are a specialisation of the Product Manager role – they form the critical connection between Seek’s strategy and customer ambitions, and the possibilities that can be unlocked by AI and data. AI Product Managers work within cross-functional teams with Data Scientists, Engineers and other specialists, who build AI and data-driven products to solve our most important customer and business problems.

The Search squad has a large and crucial scope across the value funnel for Seek, as it is responsible for creating the value to be captured efficiently through pricing.

Not only does this squad own the core algorithms that serve the job matches for a search, the Search experience itself is powered by AI models. User expectations are rapidly changing as they interact with AI powered experiences in their daily interactions; the Search squad must work hand-in-glove with the front-end experience team given the heavy influence of AI on the candidate discovery experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand strategic priorities that may influence or is dependent on Search
• Work with squad leaders to define the product ambition and strategy for your AI products
• Build a deep understanding of customer jobs to be done and constraints/gaps, and product partners’ ambition and priorities
• Align roadmaps, objectives and key results with stakeholders
• Work with partners to frame opportunities leveraging the capabilities of Search models
• Work with current and potential product and AIPS partners to understand  business objectives and identify opportunities for collaboration
• Work with partners and the squad to define measures of success for our products and services, track progress and identify opportunities to improve.

• Strong problem solver with ability to solve complex and ambiguous problems using a data-driven approach
• Great communication skills to engage with partners and internal stakeholders
• Ability to engage with and inspire technical teams, including building a deep understanding of the problem domain and contributing to solution design
• An ability to break constraints and get things done, including a willingness to roll-up your sleeves and ‘pitch in’ where required
• Ability to use data and analytics to make decision
• A strong learning orientation, and desire to learn more about Strategy, AI and Software Engineering.
