Role Description
 

As Humanoid's Administrative + Recruitment Assistant, you will be part of an operational support team that works closely with development in supporting all of our folks to their best work. This includes daily, weekly, and strategic tasks to assist in our rhythm of business. Our studio is a growing studio where new needs and skill sets may arise, so the perfect candidate will have a desire to learn and adapt as we go. 
 

As part of our flexible location model, this role can be fully work-from-home, or per your preference, can transition to partially or mostly in-office either in B.C. or Alberta. 

 

Responsibilities  

  • Work closely with managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the company's hiring needs and expectations for every role. 
  • Write and post job descriptions which are engaging yet concise, in tandem with the hiring managers.  
  • Help to facilitate the full recruiting lifecycle across a variety of open roles to help us find, hire, and retain quality candidates. 
  • Coordinate interview loops with candidates and the hiring panels, working closely to ensure that the scheduling works for all parties.  
  • Work with the People Operations Manager on general administrative tasks as required (not limited to, but including internal and external events, internal documentation and processes, mailouts, etc.) 
  • Research on industry standards to ensure we continue to uphold comprehensive packages, policies, and services for our team. 
  • Administrative support for senior leadership as needed.  
     

Qualifications and Experience 

  • 2+ years experience in an administrative or recruiting role. 
  • Solid experience with standard admin platforms: Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word), Slack, Confluence. 
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills. 
  • Adaptable to fast changing priorities, with the ability to meet deadlines. 
  • Empathic, humble, with a great sense of humour! 

 
Beneficial Skills and Experience:  

  • Previous experience within a tech, gaming, or start-up environment. 
  • Experience with HR and recruiting platforms such as Bamboo HR (or similar HRIS), Breezy (or similar ATS), ADP, benefits platforms such as Canada Life, LinkedIn. 
  • Event Planning 
  • Project Coordination
