The role:

We are seeking a reliable and execution-oriented Administrative Assistant to join the Nacelle team. You will provide professional, executive support to our CEO, Brian Anderson to empower him to be more efficient and impactful. You will own strategic management of the CEO's calendar to ensure prompt meeting coordination and time management. The ideal candidate will be self-directed and feel confident in managing a varied workload from multiple inputs. You will be expected to provide a combination of business (50%) and personal (50%) support to the CEO. This position will require you to work on-site (Dallas Metro area) assisting the CEO as needed.

In this role you will:
  • Provide calendar and travel management for CEO
  • Build out content for board meeting presentations and other investor meetings, as well as work on company slide decks, and other documents as needed
  • Reconcile expense reports 
  • Travel coordination for off-sites and other various team meetings 
  • Take ownership of special projects such as establishing new—and improving existing—administrative systems and processes
  • Liaise between the CEO, external parties and the internal team through high quality communication, always bringing incoming requests and tactical priorities to resolution
  • Provide personal support to CEO such as running errands when they arise
  • Sit in on meetings, take notes, address action items, and assign follow up tasks to drive initiatives forward
We would love to hear from you if:
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of experience providing administrative support, ideally to a C-level executive
  • High-level proficiency in Google suite, Zoom, Slack, and calendar/event management
  • Highly organized with superb attention to detail and a strong ability to execute
  • Sound judgment and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information
  • Excited about the opportunity to have a front row seat working alongside our CEO and passionate about Nacelle's mission
  • Capability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and be flexible with changing priorities
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative with minimal supervision, and hit the ground running
  • Outstanding communication skills (oral and written) with high level of poise and professionalism
  • You reside in the Dallas Metro area, and are comfortable working with the CEO onsite 2-3 days / week

Nacelle is committed to paying fairly and competitively which is why we partner with a salary and equity database company to ensure we are aligned with market rates. To benchmark salaries, it’s based on the individual's level of experience and cost of living and we are able to use data from comparable venture-backed startups (over 3,000 across the US). Salary estimate for this role is  $65,000 - $75,000, actual salary will be determined by the candidate's experience level, and location.
