From overseeing the implementation of new clients, products, and services to managing client relationships for all our accounts, the Client Success Team focuses endlessly on looking for ways to satisfy every single client need! Our Client Operations & Engagement team delivers excellence in all matters relating to client support and relationships. They provide guidance, attend to daily needs, identify new pathways for business expansions and alert at new potential opportunities.

As an Account Manager, you’ll identify, respond, and triage any situation our clients bring up. Ensuring that excellent service is delivered to our pharmacies, payers, health plans, unions and more is of the upmost importance. We’ll need your strategies to place clients at the core of Client Success’s focus so that every guarantee is achieved. Your ability to work cross functionally will be key while collaborating with other account managers, client services experts, implementation team and business solutions manager.

The fundamentals for the job…

  • Manage operational calls, agenda development, key client meetings and requests by capturing significant discussion topics and action items as well as sharing input and solutions to address client needs company priorities and team guarantees.
  • Follow up pending topics and reach out to other business areas to provide resolutions for timely completion.
  • Maintain a central log of all issues, questions, discussions, and responses.
  • Be the first-tier support for Darwin Users (the users of our one-stop pharmacy benefit shop!); this requires good understanding of pharmacy as well as healthcare logics and functionality as well as client business requirements and benefit rules.
  • Understanding and ensuring change requests from clients are submitted through CRM and confirmed to client within the agreed times.
  • Partner up internally to effective track client deliverables and needs via use of our CRM.
  • Develop of dashboards and reports to track client or internal agreed upon SLA’s and report it to Client Advisors.
  • Prepare and/or request client reports from other functional areas within Abarca such as Pharmacy Networks, Benefits Configuration, Quality Assurance and Oversight as well as many more.

 

What you’re made of

The bold requirements…

  • Bachelor’s Degree in, Business, Math, Computer Systems, or a related field. (In lieu of a degree, equivalent relevant work experience may be considered.)
  • 3+ years of experience as account manager or related position.
  • Project coordination experience.
  • Experience in handling client relations with attention to detail and customer service skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
  • We are proud to offer a flexible hybrid work model which will require certain on-site work days (Puerto Rico Location Only)
  • This position requires availability to work in a specified time zone, accommodating the business needs of our clients and team members based in the in the determined time zone.
  • This position requires availability for on-call hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, to promptly address emergent issues or provide necessary support as dictated by operational demands.

Nice to haves…

  • Experience with Pharmacy Benefit Management, Health Care, and Insurance.

Physical Requirements

  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization’s facilities.
  • Sedentary work that primarily involves sitting/standing.
