Account Executive

The Account Executive is responsible for pursuing new prospects for Verity IT's Managed IT Services. Do you enjoy hunting for new business? Are you skilled at getting prospects on the phone? If so, this could be the job for you.  

Who am I selling to?  

Our Account Executives are chasing down companies with 10-500 employees.  

What are my goals?  

The Account Executive is responsible for meeting Verity IT's monthly quota by prospecting, qualifying and closing opportunities with owners or decision makers of small to mid-sized business (SMBs).

What am I selling?  

You are selling our outsourced Managed IT services, Cybersecurity Services, Connectivity Services, network and security services to businesses. 

How much will I make? 

That depends on how much you sell. We provide a generous base salary and earning potential is unlimited based on what you sell. So, how good are you at sales? Yes, you can easily earn six figures with the right work ethic.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

80% Selling
  • Find and develop prospects by in person visits, phone based cold calling, and networking.
  • Become a trusted advisor with customers by learning their businesses, challenges, and risks.
  • Conduct onsite or online presentations that showcase the services and products of Verity IT to prospects.
  • Effectively communicate features and benefits of solutions and manage prospect expectations.
  • Work with management to develop proposals.
20% Other
  • Keep up with continuing education to improve your skills, product knowledge of the service offerings to move you towards your next career goal.
  • Perform sales procedures through activities and opportunities in CRM and PSA systems and remain compliant with defined policies and procedures.
  • Maintain accurate sales data and reports within CRM.
  • Share sales best practices and lessons learned.
  • Be an ambassador for Verity IT by actively promoting the brand through constant social network participation and other events.

Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of B2B sales experience, hunters only.
  • Previous experience with developing own leads and prospecting for brand new business.
  • Prior experience selling in one of the following industries is a plus: IT Services, IT Hardware, Software, SaaS or Cloud Services.
