What we are looking for
The Account Executive role is critical to the overall success and health of our client relationships. We are looking for an experienced leader who is well-versed in driving revenue through opportunity identification and pursuit.
As an Account Executive, you will be the point of contact between our company and our clients and serve as a hands-on account lead to drive account retention and growth. You have highly developed sales skills, relationship management, and communication. You thrive in a fast-paced environment but understand how to calmly handle challenging situations.
What you will do
Growth
- Attain a deep understanding of the client’s business and objectives to drive revenue growth.
- Develop strategies and seek opportunities to grow and expand existing accounts, including new product offers and campaigns.
- Proactively manage account plans focused on cross-selling and upselling your network within your client base.
- Develop proposals and statements of work in conjunction with agency team members.
- Lead clients and teams through annual and quarterly planning.
- Provide detailed information and cost estimates to ensure accurate data on which to plan and develop functional objectives and budgets.
Client Strategy
- Build & grow strong valued client relationships and be a strategic advisor during strategy and campaign execution.
- Ensure all campaigns, programs, and projects are aligned with business goals and are delivered according to expectations.
- Review and analyze campaign results to uncover opportunities for improvement.
- Promptly address any client satisfaction issues.
- Regularly inform the Leadership Team of account wins, losses, successes, and failures.
- Work with the product team to simplify processes, platforms, and pricing.
Operations and Financials
- Negotiation and development of Statements of Work with clients.
- Provide accurate financial forecasts and financial transparency for clients.
- Produce case studies, client testimonials, and award submissions.
Requirements
Who you are
Qualifications include:
- 4+ years of experience selling complex solutions, preferably professional services, to mid to large-sized accounts with a quota/target. There will be a quota associated with this position.
- 2+ years of experience in account management, including planning and recommending business solutions, executing, and owning multiple campaigns from kick-off to mapping goals, and tracking and reporting.
- Experience in managing key client and partner relationships and comfortable communicating at C-Level both internally and externally
- Skilled in relationship building, communication, organization, follow-up, and follow-through.
