The role

We're building out our founding growth team and looking for ambitious, self starters to grow our business from day 1. You will be joining a highly capable and driven early stage team, backed by some of the world’s best investors including a16z, and will be provided with a career-defining opportunity to work with proven operators from Monzo, Meta, Revolut Intercom and more.

As our first Account Executive at Sequence, you will drive the company's future by scaling our customer base and sharing the story of how Sequence can help to transform the way modern companies manage their quote to cash process.

What you'll do
  • Focus on winning new business: Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to contract signature for all customers ranging from ‘day 0’ startups to scaled mid market players

  • Quarterback opportunities and co-work with the wider product and engineering team where appropriate

  • Be meticulous in your approach to deeply understand the buying process for our prospects, from detailed discovery processes to the multi-stakeholder management required to get the deal over the line

  • Love being customer facing and find creative ways to build trust in a remote world

  • Build the growth playbook by proving out a repeatable sales process while playing a key role in cross functional projects to develop and refine how our future growth team will operate

 

Who you'll be
  • 3+ years of SaaS deal-closing experience

  • Have a demonstrated interest in the quote to revenue journey or display a proven willingness to learn

  • Proven track record of high performance in previous teams

  • Strong attention to detail, with the ability to effectively communicate technical product capabilities to engineering and product stakeholders

  • Self starter who can thrive in a scrappy and fast paced environment

  • A rising star, who is results oriented and driven to build a business from the ground up

  • An avid learner with a curious mindset and willingness to fail and adapt until reaching the desired outcome
