The Account Executive will lead the company's Federal sales efforts. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying and closing new business opportunities with Federal agencies. Vasion is a rapidly growing SaaS platform that enables businesses to capture and manage digital content and automate workflows. With Vasion, Federal agencies can modernize their content management and business processes to drive compliance, scalability, and accountability. As an Account Executive at Vasion, you will be responsible for creating and executing a strategic sales plan to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Responsibilities
- Manage and grow relationships with key Federal customers and partners
- Build and maintain a robust pipeline of new business opportunities
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve revenue targets
- Collaborate with Vasion's marketing and customer success teams to drive customer adoption and retention
- Conduct product demos, presentations, and proposals to prospective customers
- Provide accurate and timely sales forecasting and reporting to management
- Attend industry events and tradeshows to network and increase brand awarenes
Requirements
- 5+ years of successful technology sales experience, selling to Federal agencies preferred
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets
- Strong knowledge of the Federal procurement process and contracting vehicles
- Experience with SaaS and/or enterprise software sales
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Self-starter with the ability set goals, plan, and execute on a patch plan
- Maintain accurate sales forecast, verbal and written articulation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly pipeline forecast
- Work with channel partner counterparts to develop new opportunities
- Quarterback RFI/RFP/RFQ responses with supporting internal organizations
- Familiarity with Federal compliance and regulations ie: FITARA, FISMA, fedRAMP, FIPS 140-2/3, NIST 800-171, RMF
