RateHawk is a travel tech company that operates globally and is part of the Emerging Travel Group. Emerging Travel operate several different brands since 2010, and we are a respected and trusted travel company in Europe, the United Kingdom, the Middle East, and Asia. Currently, we are expanding into the America travel market.
Our goal as a leader in the travel technology industry is to provide travel professionals with the most convenient travel products through creation, distribution, and management. We are always working to improve and expand the travel industry and make it easier for everyone. This includes making travel simpler, more profitable for professionals, and more accessible for individuals.
We are looking for Sales Managers in the U.S. and Canada to implement effective sales strategies and build long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with our customers and partners in the North American market.
What You’ll Do:
- Champion the full sales life-cycle, from outbound communications, conducting product demos to signing new deals!
- Actively consolidate, expand and promote our new international project in new markets; US and Canada
- Leverage our product and technology to find and develop new relationships with customers, showing them how we can increase their performance and revenue.
- Our API increases booking/travel efficiencies; find new partners and tell them how!
- Partner with the Sales team to identify and grow opportunities in your territory. Collaboration is key!
- Customer satisfaction comes first! Collaborate with the Account Management team in providing a white-glove service.
- Using data-driven reporting and analysis, increase our reach into the North American market.
Requirements
Who You Are:
- You have 2-5 years of proven sales experience in the travel industry, in-depth knowledge of the country's market, and networking in the B2B travel industry i.e. travel agencies, tour operators, OTA, TMC, DMC.
- Business development for B2B travel companies are your bread and butter.
- You have strong familiarity in selling API and technology products/services.
- You are ambitious, proactive, results-oriented and comfortable with fast-paced business environments.
- You use data to back your decisions, innovate rapidly and are adept at utilizing cutting-edge technologies.
- You have experience using KPIs to track success.
- You are capable of understanding and working across culturally diverse environments, reflecting ETG's global presence.
- Be your own CEO; We are looking for individuals who can work independently and have a high degree of accountability.
- Think out-of-the-box. Ability to develop and implement solutions to unique challenges.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is required, and knowledge of other languages is a plus.
- Preferably located in Chicago, Texas and California, but open to other states across the East Coast and Central Area.
- Must be a current resident/citizen of the US (we don’t provide visa sponsorship at this time).
- 20-30% of your time may involve visiting customers or attending events.
- Experience in the travel industry is highly desirable.
