Consult RED is building the future of everything smart, and we're looking for an experienced Account Director to join our team. This is a leadership position responsible for driving growth, building relationships, and managing overall performance for our key accounts in North America.
As the Account Director, you'll be responsible for developing long-term account strategies that prioritize customer needs and align with industry trends. You'll work closely with the rest of the organization and partners to execute on these strategies, building strong relationships with client CXOs and key stakeholders. You'll also introduce Consult RED as a thought leader and strategic consulting and engineering partner within the account, positioning us for future growth.
In addition to developing account strategies, you'll also manage the sales funnel and pursue all opportunities, driving active nurturing of leads and deals. You'll work closely with the delivery team to ensure delivery excellence, and provide pre- and post-sales support to clients as needed. You'll be responsible for achieving quarterly and annual revenue, profit, customer satisfaction, employee satisfaction, and company-specific objectives, and providing regular updates to senior management on account performance.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you'll need proven experience managing accounts or a portfolio of accounts with revenue of circa $20Mn+ annually and a history of regularly achieving multi-million sales quotas. You should have proven client management experience in Engineering Services, preferably growing and managing strategic relationships in the Media and Communications, Automotive, or Industrials Industries. You should also have expert bid management skills, negotiation skills, and knowledge of MSA/contract process & standards, as well as strong financial acumen and experience managing P&L for customer accounts.
Other qualifications for this role include excellent communication and presentation skills, experience working in an onsite/offshore/nearshore model and in a multi-cultural, multi-stakeholder environment, the ability to build client rapport and trusted relationships, and the ability to identify and resolve complex client issues and escalate as necessary. A bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a master's degree in Business Management is preferred.
