*Shift Timing: Mon - Friday 40.00 Hours Per Week *

*Anticipated start date: 1- 3 Weeks*

*Duration: 12 Months contract and the possibility to be extended the contract.*

*Pay Rate: $71.00 on W2/C2C*



*Job Description:*

Works 100 remotely, Team members are expected to be available for online meetings as needed during normal East coast business working hours M-F. Contractors may work remotely from within the Continental United States only. Contractors located outside North Carolina will be expected to provide their own PC webcam and microphone. Occasional travel to Raleigh NC will be required.


This position is responsible for understanding business requirements understanding data flow requirements between our major systems performing application configuration using XML developing tasks and schedules for delivery becoming a subject matter expert on user processes and training to support delivery of the AASHTOWare Project's Preconstruction module to the Contracts Standards unit at.

This individual will identify requirements manage use cases and tests and manage clear communication regarding components to be delivered to the business.

Communication with the IT team will include creation of backlog items and daily meetings in an agile environment.

This individual will work with the lead BA to break down the design into milestones and work items communicating both to the technical team and the business customer. This individual will also perform test validation for functional components ensuring customers are informed trained with sufficient help training materials. The individual must be knowledgeable and experienced with business analysis AASHTOWare Project and preconstruction processes in a state level.

This person is ultimately accountable to the IT manager for the effective delivery of this module and its interfaces to other primary systems in a timely fashion. It is critical this position be filled as soon as possible in order for the IT team to maintain the current level of support for this application.



*Must Have Skill:*

Must be strong and confident in verbal and written communication. Ability to translate and explain technical concepts to business users

Proven experience evaluating business processes and re-engineering. Proactive approach to resolving business issues

Proficiency in SQL skills - for querying databases and understanding data flow between systems.

Excellent organizational and presentation skills

Knowledge of business processes at a state level.

Experience with SCRUM/Agile methodologies

Demonstrated experience with the software platform called AASHTOWare Project (AWP)

Working knowledge of State construction contract business processes, including pre-bid, advertisement and solicitation, letting, award and execution

One year of experience troubleshooting and resolving AWP preconstruction module incidents and issues in a production environment.

Experience with solutions development metholodigies and knowledge of systems and industry requirements

Experience with Azure DevOps

Experience with IT technologies, architecture, infrastructure and knowledge of systems and industry requirements.
