About the Role

Our client is seeking a senior-level graphic artist specialising in 3D animation for a long-term collaboration on a project. The project involves animating parts of a 3D object (an OBJ mesh created through photogrammetry) and synchronizing these animations with a sound score. This remote opportunity offers creative freedom and is expected to span approximately eight months.

Responsibilities:

• Animate specific parts of a 3D object (OBJ mesh) created through photogrammetry
• Synchronize object animations with a provided sound score
• Collaborate closely with the project lead to understand and execute the creative vision
• Provide input and creative suggestions to enhance the overall project
• Maintain consistency in animation style throughout the project duration

Requirements

• Proven experience as a senior-level 3D animator
• Strong proficiency in 3D animation software (e.g., Maya, Blender, 3ds Max)
• Experience working with OBJ files and meshes created through photogrammetry
• Demonstrated ability to synchronize animations with audio
• Creative problem-solving skills, especially when working with complex 3D objects

 

Companies need to hire freelancers such as animators, graphic designers, and software developers but are dissatisfied with existing freelance marketplaces.
