Remote and hybrid describe different routines
A remote role may still require a specific home location, work hours or occasional travel. A hybrid role adds another question: when and where do you need to work in person?

Check these details in the listing
Before applying, look for:
- Office location: Which office would you visit?
- In-person schedule: How many days or visits are expected?
- Travel: Who pays for travel, and how much notice will you get?
- Hiring area: Must you live near the office or in a certain country?
- Working hours: Does the role need you online at set times?
If the ad leaves these points open, ask the employer: “Could you share the expected office schedule and how often the person in this role needs to travel in?”
Keep location and schedule separate
